Best Vlogging Camera Tripod : Joby Gorillapod Focus + Ballhead X

Joby Gorillapod Focus With Ballhead X Review

Ok what’s up, how’s it going guys? Today’s I’m going to do a quick review of the Joby Gorillapod Focus and Ballhead X bundle, that I’ve had this for a few months. Now and I’m really happy with it, so the joby gorillapod focus with the ballhead x bundle, it’s really cool because essentially you can mount any DSLR up to 11 pounds. So for example the canon 70D which is the camera that i use, can easily be held by this, without a problem. You can also use a camera as heavy as the canon 5D Mark III with a good-sized lense.

One of the things that makes this particular tripod really exciting is, that you get into different angles that you typically wouldn’t get with a standard tripod. You can set it up lower or higher or the coolest thing is you can bend it in any direction that you like you can wrap it around poles or trees, tree branches, anything to get the shot. So the cool thing here as well is that you got the particular little knob that loose and up able, so you can get into any angle you like, okay very flexible.

The other one knob that it’s perfect for panning and there’s other little knob is the one you need to pull your plate. You also have little screw that actually works perfect without having to use a screwdriver or a coin or whatever tool you may have to mounted on your camera which is awesome.

Now the entire setup is actually metal, supposed to the other Gorillapod out there, that are meant for lighter cameras that are actually plastic. The cool thing about this particular model is, that all these balls are metal they have a rubber ring and they also have rubber feet so that gives you a better grip. So there it is, this is the joby gorillapod focus with ballhead x mount, when i first got this i got it at a local camera shop and it was about a $149 or $150. However you can get a much better deal through amazon so if you’re looking for something like this for your Vlogging camera or for your video production i recommend this things, so you can get more over an idea of what this tool can do for you.

How it can make the way you create videos a lot better definitely recommend it for daily use that if you take good care of it, it will last you for a long time. The one thing with the other plastic models is that after you use it for a while the joints they start getting loose and they won’t hold up a full-size DSLR it’ll just fall over and of course you want to make sure that you take care of your equipment and you don’t want to put an expensive camera on something that is going to fall.

My final thought of the joby gorillapod focus and ballhead x is first, I really do love the build quality, i love how this thing is made. From my experience itself, this really looks like a product that is meant to last and will stay with me for quite a while, so that really did impress me guys and also the locking features on this joby gorillapod part it does stay where you wanted to be once it’s locked down guys.

it’s locked down, its lock and secure so you don’t have to worry about putting a lot of going crazy with your setups and another thing I like about this, the fact that it is a quick-release system and it’s not just a simple quickly, the system it does have a secure system security lock.

Which basically means your camera will basically still are be secure so that’s one thing I do like about their system, it really provides you that extra security in terms of your camera and also adds the extra production value when you need one.

Guys I highly recommend this to budget film makers for anyone who’s starting out this is actually a great tool to actually build your creativity, I think we just this tool alone are, you are able to just get out there and start shooting you won’t be caught up with any equipment with this alone, you are just able to just bring it out throw the camera anywhere and really an experiment with your shot choices and get to learn about filmmaking a lot more.
